We are coming down to the last few days of practice before States.
It is so important to stay hydrated by drinking water each day and not get what we call accumulitive dehydration.
Also you need to get 8 hours of sleep the next several nights. Getting quality sleep at night now so your body is rested and you can give 100% next Monday and Tuesday.
You need to make sure you name is on your skis beore Sunday. Also you have to come to States with clean skis, no kick wax or klister left on them and sand your kick zone.
Practices for the remaining of the week:
Thursday Feb 16 - DAY OFF for most.
Those who want to ski call Doug Martin to let him now you want to ski and then meet at the high school at 2:30.
If you felt tired Wednesday, have sore knees or getting over an illness then I want you to take Thursday off and rest.
Take the time to wax your skate skis and clean your classic skis.
Friday Feb 17 2:45 bus to Pineland - CLASSIC
Saturday Feb 18 11:00 practice, meet at Pineland - CLASSIC Sleep in and rest in the morning.
If you have time we can clean and prep your skis after practice at Pineland
Sunday Feb 19 10:00 bus to Black Mt.
CLASSIC practice will be at Black Mt.
Monday Feb 20 - 5K CLASSIC RACE
