Reminder there are only 3 weeks till the first race, January 4.
Please do as much long distance cardio training as you can on the off days.
It is very important to build your strength and cardio this month. The amount of practice days will not be enough to really improve your fitness without a couple extra days.
I was really impressed with the focus at practice the past couple weeks. Thank you!
That focus was lost last Tuesday.
I realize not everyone is on the team because nordic skiing is a passion. Some of you are here to have a fun winter with friends and maybe get some exercise at the same time. That is fine with me.
What I am not fine with is kids chatting and not paying attention to what we are doing for exercises
or kids distrurbing those athletes who are trying to focus.
The only real way you can be dropped from the team is attitude so let's get back to focusing on skiing and improving throughout the season.
