Congratulations to all the skiers who competed today at the Twin Brooks not-quite-5K 5K. I was happy to see you guys took charge and made the waxing go smoothly and did your warmup while I was off making sure the race was running smoothly.
Good job in the race and I was very impressed with how hard everyone was racing.
Thanks to all the parents who volunteered at the race. It would not have gone as smoothly without your help.
And thanks to all the parents who came to cheer all the skiers. It was great to see everyone out on course.
I will post the race results here as soon as I receive them from 5K Sports.
The rest of the week:
Thursday - No team practice, but you should get out and ski on your own.
Classic ski 15 - 20k with 15 minutes of double poling only in the middle of your ski.
Wax skis
Friday - 2:45 bus to Pineland, Skate Practice

Saturday - 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Skate practice. Meet at Pineland

Sunday - No team practice, but ski on your own, 20 to 25k, either skate or classic
