Congrats to all who made it to the race today. It was a cold morning, the snow was soft and slow but everyone did very well warming up, getting to the start and racing hard. You should be very happy with the way you skied today.

Practice schedule for the week of Jan 16
Remember it is mid-terms so studying is priority. Though do remember there are plenty of research studies that show exercise will help you focus on studying and retaining information.
We will be skating Wed, Thur, Friday and skate race Saturday. Classic on Sunday.
Tuesday Jan 17 - Optional practice with Spencer meet at Pineland. NO BUS
Wed Jan 18 - 12:30 bus to Pineland with Melanie Ross and Spencer Egan
Focus for the practice is balance and "fast feet" and of course some double poling
Thursday Jan 19 - 2:45 bus to Pineland with me, Mel and Spencer
Focus is on glide with "free-skate", V2 squared, downhill training, drafting
Friday Jan 20 - 12:30 bus to Pineland with Melanie and Spencer
Focus is on warm-ups, cool-downs, games
Saturday Jan 21 - 10:00 practice at Pineland - CLASSIC - No Bus
Sunday Jan 22 - Classic ski on your own for 90 minutes very easy, conversational pace.
Finish with 15 minutes double pole
I will be gone over the weekend, heading to the large city of Fort Kent for a biathlon race. I will see every one Thurs for practice
